How much does a Mechanic understand of the Sponsor's design?
While I understand your point Jan, we don't need the mechanics to know exactly what the sponsors were thinking or up to. We can put those puzzle pieces together ourselves, over time and with a lot of work...as can some of the brighter mechanics. We need truthful information - its the best we can get. No sponsor as far as I know has ever said anything truthful......and most have not spoken at all.
