An aside, as I wipe away a tear. I had the extreme honor of a private concert by Mary Travers in my tent during a protest at UCLA. She just asked if she could enter the tent with her guitar in hand and entertain / cheer up the protesters [2] inside. I could hardly speak in thanks and awe of her graceful presence and my high regard for her integrity and work. She sang us a few songs and talked with me for quite a while.
I'll never wash that memory from my mind.
