The trouble with that is the horizontal axis requires that any shot from that zone would have to go through the windshield.

The shooter's position was elevated enough that the windshield wouldn't have been in the way.

Can anyone demonstrate this with photographic evidence or a schematic diagram. To me the angle risks striking the driver, Mrs. Connally, and Jackie, from the south Knoll position, The more central overpass position maybe, but it's hard to believe a shooter wouldn't have been noticed there. IMO a shot from the very northwest most corner of the roof of the Post Office building might be high enough to clear the windshield and avoid hitting others besides Kennedy. But these trajectories assume a FMJ bullet that maintains a straight line trajectory. The evidence suggests a frangible bullet that wouldn't necessarily behave that way.
