The two people were standing next to a Bell Jet Ranger helicopter. The picture was referenced as being taken around the mid sixties.

The problem with that is the helicopter was not even in production at the quoted time. The Jet Ranger did not appear in military or commercial uses until the mid seventies. (72 if I remember right)

I pointed this out to the author and posted that information on a Forum as well as private email to the Forum host. I did not get a respond from the host and was attack as accusing the "reputable" author of being less that truthful...and my statements were a feeble attempt by the CIA to damage the credibility of the story. I was also asked.., " what did I have to hide concerning the Kennedy assassination?" Shortly after those postings the thread was diverted onto another topic concerning my credibility.

As far as I know to this day that information and proof of the helicopter picture and the alledged mayor standing next to Berry Seal has never been corrected or discussed.

Beware; Just because its writen in a book does not make it a fact.

I have compared photos that appear in Hopsicker's hardback edition of Barry & The Boys (page 463) and find that the photo looks very much like some of the photos I have found of the mayor, though I have not been able to find one online showing a profile of him. He always wore a mustache, but from the photo in the book it is impossible to tell whether the man was mustached or not. The unidentified man in the photo looks a great deal like Lloyd Gaubert, Sr., who died in 2005:
