I've just received the following 300 page deposition from Roads End that was given by Robert Booth Nichols just 2 months prior to his death in March 2009. Nichols died, according to reports at the time, from a heart attack, but the autopsy showed he died from a massive blow to the head.This is a large file, so for ease of downloading it has been broken down into three parts.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
