This is interesting, Peter. Prof. Titovets makes a good case that Oswald spoke Russian in Minsk. What is really fascinating is his claim that LHO spoke Russian in the presence of Anita Ziger, which directly contradicts what she told John Armstrong during their three-day meeting. This can hardly be construed as a misunderstanding.
Remember, John wrote about how surprised he was to hear Ana's account; after all, he wrote that he was familiar with those quotes from Marina at the time, and probably more. But the Zigers were clearly an integral part of LHO's life in Minsk, and, though I haven't talked to John yet about your latest post, I'm not prepared to declare Anita Ziger wrong without some more information. If Magda is able to contact her, perhaps we'll have some more detail.
As we all know, this issue is a rather critical one, and I certainly want to know the truth. Thanks again.
