There are two threads [which maybe should be conjoined] on this - so I am not sure on which I have posted what. But, on the other thread I suggested, if it is possible at some point, it might be productive to have BOTH Ana and Ernst on the same phone call or, better, skype conference call with a questioner and, if needed, an interpreter; however, if a question is given to both of them in, say Spanish and English - and they discuss it in Russian - then they can both be asked for their response and response to what the other said in Spanish and English. Just an idea. I agree with you that this is a very important issue and Oswald may well have known Russian, but used it only in certain situations and not in others. Or, Ana could be having memory problems or has been coached or coerced to say what she now says. Her father may himself been in some intelligence role. The real key to all this would be Marina, but she has many reasons to not change her past lies or withheld truths. Marina is a friend, I like her personally, and she's suffered a lot personally. For a long time she was afraid of deportation or worse and then for her daughters. I think she is no longer in fear and generally has finally come out that Oswald was innocent -but she won't go into details on things like this or the Back Yard Photos and many other things. There are many reasons, not the least of which would be how many mysteriously died. That said, it would be interesting if in private [if any electronic communication can still be private] Marina would talk to Titovets and /or Ana to 'compare notes'. I think it very unlikely, but we can hope.
