Trauma can freeze things and details. Unthinkable was trauma.
During a memorable private conversation, Hemming said to me that a former SS sniper -- "one of the Rat Line boys" -- was firing on full automatic from the TSBD northwest 6th floor window, and that his target was Connolly.
I didn't buy it, and I told him so.
