Dystopia Is Alive and Well in America

I used to allow myself some hope when I was younger, but now that's pretty much gone. The people running this planet are no better than Mafia thugs - organized crime has now truly gone "legit," Michael Corleone's dream (another example of life imitating art). And the masses of people are too brainwashed, or too drugged up or distracted or frightened, or just struggling to survive every day. There are too few people like us who have the time to figure out what's going on.
