I do not know if the Z film was altered or not and remain agnostic. What i know though, is that the Z film was used for propaganda purposes
after the fact to create cognitive dissonance and fighting among the researchers. Knowing that the fim was in the possession of Life/Time and Henry Luce
for many years i can deduce that C.D. Jackson a PsyOps expert and Luce's personally emissary to the CIA would be the likely candidate to
have use it in a PsyOps operation to confuse researchers and promote division among them.
In the final analysis arguing about its authenticity who fell victims of this PsyOp operation.
I am not interested much in the micro-analysis of the case, although i would love to know one day the number of shooters, their location, number of shots etc.
I prefer to study the macro-analysis of the case and i specially liked your reply below

I lack the expertise and knowledge to study the film and leave this task to those who can.
I follow Salandria's advice to Fonzi...about stop micro-analyzing the evidence because they'll keep us busy until they were us down.
My humble opinion.

IMHO, you haven't followed the total destruction of the Zapruder film as intact evidence [as presented to us by the powers that be]; sequestered after alteration, and only stills shown until subpoenaed by Garrison; and part of multiple psyops.

May I suggest you start with 1] Horne's work on the subject, and 2] the new film interviewing the man who did the secret development and copies of the Z-film for the CIA and USSS available on vimeo. He was followed [without his knowledge] by another group working for the CIA and USSS in altering the film. Together, it paints a totally clear picture of the how and WHY of the alteration (to hide the truth of the assassination) - being altered to, as much as they could, match the altered body and autopsy [which were ALSO for the purpose of hiding the truth of the assassination]. No special expertise is needed to evaluate Horne's work nor the video above...only common sense and an open mind to the Truth.

Yes, there is some 'over-analysis' of things like guns, bullets, number of shots, where from, shooters, etc. [IMHO]....but the Zapruder film and the fact it was altered [secretly] - and that Mr. Z was one of the few filmmakers in the Plaza who didn't have his film seized and wasn't threatened - but instead made literally millions for keeping his mouth shut on this fraud [of which he must have had knowledge]. Sometime, explore who Zapruder was friends with and knew...they include some VERY INTERESTING persons, including the owner of the TSBD - Byrd....but others who I believe were very much a part of, and had foreknowledge of the plot....and were accessories after the fact, as well.

It is not trivial......and not micro-analysis...it is the BIG picture!
