Sadly, it seems that all politicians are, if they can get away with it, theives and oligarchs - only a matter of which 'camp' they are in - but the stealing is always 'trickle up' from the 'Plebs'.
Why else would they go into politics other than to steal from the people and build their power base, so they steal even more in the future... :
