From news 5/20/14: McMillan received a five year probation from a judge after being found guilty by a jury. She will have to serve 90 days in jail as a condition of that probation. Her attorneys plan to appeal, but it is quite likely that her term of confinement will be over long before an appellate action could assist her.
At least its a relatively light sentence. The judge could have sentenced her to up to 7 years in prison. I hope her lawyers don't just buy her a longer sentence with their appeal.
