Co-founder of The Pirate Bay arrested
Peter Sunde, co-founder of the bittorrent site The Pirate Bay, was arrested earlier this saturday by Swedish police.
According to information provided to Expressen the arrest was made on a farm in the southern regions of Sweden and was carried out by heavily armed police.
I can confirm that he is in custody, says Caroline Ekéus, press officer at the national police department.

It was earlier today that swedish police in collaboration with polish police made a bust against a farm in Skåne, in south Sweden.
During the raid Peter Sunde, co-founder of The Pirate Bay, was taken into custody by heavily armed police.
According to his attorney Peter Altin who defended Peter Sunde in the Pirate Bay-trial in wich Sunde was convicted, the arrest may be linked to the case.
Sunde has since the final verdict been on the run from his eight month prison sentence wich he has not yet served.
Expressen has learned that a warrant for his arrest has been made by Interpol.
The national police department confirms that Sunde has been arrested but declined to give anymore information about the arrest.
