First gay marriage, then mandatory sterilization; its not looking promising for Suzie Homemaker in California.
Oh no, not gay marriage! ::rofl::
Listen, the eugenics movement used to be huge in this country 80-100 years ago, popular with both parties. California, where my family has lived since the 1880s, was a center of it (and back then it was a heavily Republican state, run by a white elite - it didn't start moving into the Democrats' column until the 1990s). The elites - who are not "liberal" or "conservative" in the sense that we understand those words - would love to bring eugenics and sterilization back.
