US African American Man Arrested For Crime of Entering His Own House

Or could it be to spite him?

I think neither. It's just America as usual. Once the officer saw the man's id and that it was his home the officer should have just left. And I believe had it been a white man that is what would have occurred. But it was a racist cop who felt he had to arrest the guy for SOMETHING. (And that he was a Harvard prof. probably pissed the cop off even more).

Yes America elected a black president but in terms of racism in this country we have miles to go. I thought Obama did a great job last night in his press conf. on all the issues, and in paticular this: that blacks and Hispanics are stopped at a much higher rate. I see it in my work all the time.
