Peter Lemkin Wrote:It seems to me that this may be not so much corrupt and unethical practices in the media and between the media and both police and pols - but rather the use of cut-outs [in this case media outlets] to do the 'business' and propaganda of the intelligence agencies and corrupt political class.
Yes, cutouts were used by the Murdoch press as a matter of course - usually private detectives and security types. Standard Operating Practice. But it's who gave the orders and who authorised the payments to those cutouts that should have fingered the real perps. Oddly enough, it was the rather ludicrous defence argument, "I didn't know nuffin' guv" that won the day. Odd that, and one reason why I figured the prosecution had no real intention of winning - making the trial a de facto "reverse" show trial.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
