I kind of sloughed off on that at my new school since I did not think the kids would appreciate it here.

My wife is from a small town in Kansas, Scandia. Their tiny high school - approximately 30 kids for each graduating class - has a history teacher that spends A WEEK on the JFK assassination every year. His dedication is fantastic. Virtually everyone in the area has a good grasp of the basics.
