Thank you to all the US voters who didn't vote for the Republicans. As a non-US resident I cannot vote in those elections but your choice effects us all. I am feeling more relieved that McCain didn't get in than pleased that Obama did. Though it is amazing and great indeed to see a black man in the highest official position in that land. Some people will not be sleeping easy tonight because of that and no doubt the Illinois Nazi party may get a few more members. I hate Illinois Nazis.
We will see how he goes. I think many people have high hopes for what he can do. I still think he will end up being Brzezhinsky's boy though and there will be great disappointment. Class interests will prevail as always they do. The US is not a real democracy yet. If he steps out of line there is always the Dallas option. Let's hope he gets ris of all his useless advisors and gets some real new blood in there. Then there can be change.
