Tracy Riddle Wrote:But I digress. The really ridiculous thing about the hysterical caterwauling about Putin and East Ukraine is that, in terms of the unofficial rules of the game of international geopolitics, as 'written' by the West, Russia is fully entitled to send weapons, intelligence info and supplies to the separatists in East Ukraine under the aegis of "protecting Russia's interests". In fact, Russia has a lot of catching up to do if it is to ever come close to the level of US and Western 'meddling' in other nations. In fact, I don't think Russia could ever do so, because the US and Western European nations have been meddling in the affairs of other nations for centuries, and in nations in which they had and have no obvious interest, save the "interest" declared by all pathological regimes aspiring to global hegemony.
Re Russia supporting the separatists with weapons, supplies and soldiers -- you would think "by the unofficial rules of the game of international geopolitics" this would be fair. But fair ain't part of the unofficial rules of the US. Anything goes these days, including the old adage "do as I say not what I do."
The entire Ukrainian affair is a open case study of how America and we Brits play the world and it's own citizens using the most blatant and appalling propaganda --- which we all continue to incorrectly call "news".
As I keep saying the Muslim threat was waning, so time for a new nasty ol' Commie threat to reemerge.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
