No disrespect Tom, but my eyes began to glaze over a wee bit by the 2nd para when I read the propaganda spin:
If only they'd be honest.
There. I fixed that quote. But, of course, this is a reality that cannot be admitted to the people, so the entire process has to begin with a lie about "liberty and freedom" and go downhill from there. It was inevitable that it would eventually collapse and fragment, because it was founded on deceit. Which is what's now happening.
For what it's worth, I believe the whole thing about the New World Order derives from the Rhodes-Milner "Order" and was designed for a wealthy class to run the planet, as ordinary souls are unable to do it collectively. This may have been true (about the collective), but the thing is that the wealthy class who were to run things never have to take note - or amend - their own prejudices, psychological frailties and weaknesses. Because of this the plan was buggered from its inception...
Quote:...the U.S. identified its own rise with the spread of liberty and democracy and credited these forces with an ability to achieve just and lasting peace.
If only they'd be honest.
Quote:... the US identified its own rise with the spread of corporate profiteering and wealth collection and the emergence of a super class based on wealth and credited those forces with an ability to achieve unfettered greed as an international basis of governance"

The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
