David, I haven't yet read Meier's new book, only his first volume on Jonestown, but I think the answer to your question is yes. The Jonestown book makes references to both AIDS and MK-Ultra but paints a convincing overall picture of black op CIA activity without nailing all the specifics. I think the new book extends the research and the overall argument, and is what Meiers was discussing with Colby just before the latter was whacked. Meier's new book would probably make an interesting read with the below volume by Donald Scott and his son William Scott- the latter two authors spoke at a JFK conference alongside Peter Dale Scott (no relation) and placed AIDS under the umbrella of CIA black operations in their talk. I have a prior volume by William Scott ('The Extremely Unfortunate Skull Valley Incident') that leads into the book linked below, and found it to be methodically argued and convincing.
