Ground troops can't be far behind. To me, control of the entire World or its resources is what the USA's geostrategic goals are. ILIS/IS response has been happy - now they will get many new recriuits and certainly will do many more kidnappings and beheadings. What ever happened to diplomacy and negotiation? - now everything is done down the barrel of a gun, drone, bomb or covert operation with special forces. Where the **** does the USA get the chutzpah to think they should run the World - we can't even run our own Country - except into the ground. What a mess - a new one of many. Obama surely NOT the Peace President - only a glib speaking frontman for the usual Secret Government. Our current allies in this new endeavor: apparently, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Israel, Egypt, Quatar, Turkey, UK, and maybe covertly Syria and Iran. Strange bedfellows. More death and mayham we constructed several years ago.
Obama loves the smell of napalm in the morning, methinks.
Yep, it's the "international order" that the US has been following since the end of WWII and the control of the world's mineral wealth that underlies everything US foreign policy enacts. If this means that my friend becomes my enemy overnight, or even if my enemy become my friend during the course of the day, so what. War is good for the economy.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
