If you force the population to obey an ever increasing draconian rule of law while you've short-cutted it for yourselves you stand at an automatic advantage that is hard to resist. I think the best example of what David is saying is the Kennedy family itself that should be out in the streets crying bloody murder but is instead obeying this unspoken code or taboo that is the order of the establishment and the most holy unbreakable rite. America is a sham where the central creed is this no snitching rule in the moral ghetto of the influential rather than any attempt at check and balance democracy.
