The fact remains that Putin's view is tame compared to reality. The west financed Hitler and continued to finance him in the certain knowledge that he was massively re-arming -- which he was forbidden to do under the Versailles Treaty. The idea was that Hitler would be permitted to militarize in order that he would then march into the Soviet Union with the consent of the western powers. It didn;t work out that way entirely, so the facts had to be changed to alleviate those guilty of manipulating WWII into being.
He is entirely correct of course. And they and the US are also behind the resurgence of fascism in Europe because of their economic austerity policies and the usefulness of the fascist tools to the ongoing agenda. Much like the first time around.
