Albert Doyle Wrote:CNN just had the Seals who allegedly shot Bin Laden describing the mission.
What CNN did was let the Seals highlight the reasons why they shot Bin Laden in their own words. It was a nice propaganda piece where they spoke of killing Bin Laden for the people who were in the towers. They personalized it with specific names as well as telling what the victims and their family members did that day. One Seal said he did it for the woman who straightened out her skirt before jumping to escape burning to death.
So what CNN is brainwashing the public with is a normalization of what is basically the SS Nazi Special Forces who (allegedly) executed an unarmed man and are now on CNN unopposed bragging about it. If you look at the situation we now have a CNN government where Seal murderers short circuit American democracy and come on to explain their murders at their own will using their own logic. There was no opposition on the CNN show, just the Smerconish host and the Seal. So we now have a new form of government where the people and their right to hear Osama Bin Laden and his side under the sacred Constitutional right to trial are bypassed by these cowardly murdering Navy Seals who murder unarmed men and brag about it unopposed. Nope, you won't see that Seal coward talk about the Constitutional issues over what he did. Nope, he's too busy sunning himself in the glow of American fascism and its power. Meanwhile there was no mention that it would have been just as easy to handcuff Bin Laden and take him back with them as murder him. Shining SS Glory!
Nicely put Albert.
I would add to your final sentence "If indeed it was bin Laden they allegedly killed"
It was clearly intended as the heroic denoument of the wicked evil bin Laden story in exactly the manner you describe. Those who understand something of the sordid realities of that story see it for what it is - utterly crass propaganda at the expense of an insufferable, used-up psychopath, intoxicated by the military drug of prospective glory and blind to his own evil and the real purposes of his masters.
