Pakistan is an overcrowded country full of Islamic fundamentalists.

I don't expect to see such ridiculous statements on a forum such as this one.

Pakistani people are just as fed up of their ruling class as Americans are.

Did you even read the rest of my comment? Doesn't look like it. I said that the Pakistani government is not popular with its people (I compared the regime to the Shah of Iran), very concerned with internal security. Do you know what that term means? It means they are afraid of their own population, like the Shah was.

And yes, there are a lot of very conservative Muslims in Pakistan, and a lot of sympathy for the Taliban, especially in the northern part of the country.
