While tornados are a natural and occasional fact in the American midlands, the number and severity of them is increasing as there is more energy in the atmosphere now with global warming and the consequent increased water and heat contents of the atmosphere. This storm is rated as F5 - the highest rating and perhaps the strongest ever recorded....it takes some days to determine. The funnel was one mile wide at times. Expected death toll near 100. Number of homes destroyed in the many thousands - totally destroyed. :mexican:

Wow. So much for how much more CO2 will benefit the planet -- no more bad winters, no more blowing snow, better crop yields. Just more chaos as that energy finds way in wreak havoc. Oh, wait, geo-engineering. Can you imagine that fight in Congress to make sure that their state gets projects -- it won't matter which project, or whether it will hurt or harm. WHY? JOBS!!!
