Top NATO commander General Philip Breedlove has raised hackles in Germany with his public statements about the Ukraine crisis.
This strikes me as a warning from Merkel to the US war-hawks to stop meddling.
But they won't of course.
I now can't help wonder if the US is going to push the Europeans to terminate NATO because of this, and that the whole Atlantic alliance will crumble because of it? This whole affair should be left to Merkel and Hollande and other Europeans to sort out with Putin, but the neocons can't stop themselves from meddling and planning further war with Russia down the road.
Just imagine the Germans and French agitating in Mexico, providing weapons and military trainers to develop Mexico's ability to wage war on America. Imagine America sending a warning message to the Europeans and it being ignored and plans made to increase their aid to Mexico and openly incite war between Mexico and the US.
Imagine the response of the US to that scenario.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
