Yikes, Meier's Jonestown book is $85 and up! If anyone has a copy they don't need and will part with cheaply, or an electronic version, kindly let me know. Jonestown has always been of great interest to me. What went on there was certainly sinister in the extreme and certainly had intelligence 'aspects' - as did Jones and some of the others there. How the mainstream media and society sold/bought the story of just a cult gone 'strange' is really incredible in this case....one could name so many things, but the fact that most did not commit suicide, but were murdered - and their bodies moved, stacked, and allowed to rot in the jungle heat to obliterate the evidence is only one of many. The shooting of Ryan another. I'm sorry that Hougan only made a brief visit here...he really knows this story inside out.
