I remain convinced that Jim Jones was himself a mind controlled puppet.

I concur. That's why, in classic fashion, a Jones doppelganger existed, and one version of Revd Jim could be taken to Hawaii to have his programming, um, serviced, whilst the other one created a visible trail elsewhere.

Jones was a controlled Controller.

Once Congressman Leo Ryan arrived in Guyana, the experiment was over. Blown.

Cue the zombie assassins and the disposal of the human evidence.

Real footage of assassins going about their lethal business is extremely rare. NBC cameraman Bob Brown lost his life filming the Jonestown assassins climbing out of the tractor, advancing towards the plane, and killing Congressman Leo Ryan (critic of the CIA), and at least four others. None of these assassins was ever tried. The only individual convicted in relation to these murders was one of Jim Jones' white lieutenants, Larry Layton, for conspiracy to murder and attempted murder. Layton was inside the plane, and was not one of the assassins advancing from the tractor. (Layton was initally acquitted of murder in Guyana after successfully pleading that he'd been "brainwashed".)

The footage for which Bob Brown died, his rushes of the advancing assassins, is very rare and hard to find - even for professional film researchers. However about three grainy seconds can be seen in this YouTube clip at c2:45 and c3:08:

Some researchers believe that these assassins are "hypno-programmed". Some that they are a professional hit team. Others that they are simply paranoid killers. Whatever the truth, the footage that cost Bob Brown his life is both shocking and unique.
