Société Générale tells clients how to prepare for potential 'global collapse'
David Guyatt Wrote:Were it anyone other than Evans-Pritchard reporting this I would take more note of what SocGen says. But not altogether a great deal more based on their past history.

Magda - thank you for posting. It is an interesting piece, but David and I have had much to say about the very spooky Ambrose Evans-Pritchard over the years, and addiitonally he has a very specific monetarist position.

As for SocGen, recent stock market history suggests that when a firm's analysts recommend one course of action to clients, the traders often profit by taking the opposite position.

Of course, both SocGen and AEP may very well be correct about imminent global financial collapse.
