Another self-imposed obstacle preventing Israel from moving from ethnotheocracy to democracy: if Palestinians had an equal say, the demographic trend is for them to outnumber Jewish Israelis in a few years. If you factor in Palestinians enjoying the "Right of Return" the situation is even less Jewish. Kahane is right about the contradiction between Zionism and democracy. One almost wishes for a republican form of government there to safeguard the rights of all minorities, but if wishes were horses, there'd be even more horsehsit everywhere.
