This war on terrorism is bogus
#4
There are lots of places to go with this topic, but let me add one thought from this week and another from the past.

This week we have seen the intensification, both in practice and verbal protest, of the TSA airport screening shenanigans, staunchly defended by many as meeting the wishes of the people as expressed through Congress (despite the numerous occurrences of Congressional intimidation and legislation-without-prior-reading), and as necessary given the underwear bomber (despite numerous professional protestations that the weapon lacked potency and oomph, and despite significant evidence that the lad clad in bad was personally escorted and waived through security by the same private security proprietors who let in the 9/11 hijackers in order to set up and facilitate the placement of the scanners by the DHS chief who was instrumental in 9/11 cover-ups and who know serve on the board of the scanner manufacturer), and yet the absolutely-necessary scanners were "stood down" on the busiest traffic day of the year (either in the face of massive traffic, political protest and loss of face, loss of income and schedule/air from queue disruption). Such an action is an indicator that the security state system knows there is no real terrorist threat. This was seconded by my own personal experience today visiting a place I have visited in the past which sees significant crowds, had tight security, and was a possibly viable target for a terror bombing. Today, with thick canvas beach bag 16" deep and 5 " wide stuffed with books and other personal paraphernalia, I was waved through with a smile and a wave that no security check was necessary.

In the past, there have been significant discussions of LIHOP and MIHOP. I know this isn't the 9/11 section and perhaps I should hunt up the discussion I remember best and start a new thread: the one about the very slippery and very steep yet small slope between LIHOP and MIHOP. The first appears to be a passive process engaged with a silent wink and a nod wherein all the action was on the part of the supposed perps. But LIHOP doesn't stand up to either logic or scrutiny of the testimony and evidence. Furthermore, anything in the slightest bit significant in the way of assistance at a critical moment in the pre-events or the events changed that L to an unquestionable M. On the surface, it is actionable malfeasance in its best light; if the slope was greased in any way, it is treason with a capital T.

There is, of course, a good deal of evidence about the applications of "grease".
