The End of the Washington Consensus
#3
I do so wish though that MSM and other commentators would move with the times and stop quoting this ridiculously inaccurate and designedly deflated figure of "$700 billion U. S Treasury bailout of Wall Street", when it has already reached $8.5 trillion.

There was a time when writers and journo's took pride in the accuracy of their reports and declined to fossilize themselves according to the politically correct model laid down by spin-meisters on day one.

Down the years all sorts of tragedies and events have been frozen in time based on jaded and inaccurate MSM reporting, which later diametrically conflict with accrued facts.

The US dollar is bust. Ditto the international acceptance of US Treasury paper. Even City based pension fund advisers know it.

Rant over.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
