I see it as evidence of most important strategic developments, not regarding any proliferation of nuclear weapons but Iran reaching out to offer protection to fellow Shias and disgrunted others who are trying peacefully to get rid of their corrupt rulers.
This strategy by Tehran clearly has America on the run, with the likely fall of Bahrain's corrupt monarchy where the US Fifth Fleet is based, and what Washington has stoked up by allowing him to take a tough stand.
Of course, if the 5th Fleet has to leave, where will it go?
And if Mubarak was still around, I'm sure that he would have come up with some excuse to stop the warships going through the Suez.
Tehran has really gotten things going, and Washington better come up with a better answer than simple repression or this is just the beginning of the fall of its Ceausiscu dominoes.
