Many of the founders of Human Events Charles Lindberg, General Wood, Henry Regnery, Senator Burton Wheeler ( D - Montana ), Congressman Hamilton Fish ( R - NY ) and Senator Robert Taft ( R 0 Ohio ) were members of the non - interventionists, into the European War, America First Committee. In the early years HE was anti Zioinist, today it is staunchly Pro Israel.
