Marilyn Monroe in Chicago
#2
Oh, god, the image Marilyn being 17 tons just does not do it for me at all! Then there is all the hardness and coldness of the medium they used to make it, stainless steel. She looks brittle and flinty and like an Amazonian Barbie Godzilla in a wax death mask.

Here she looks like she is going to the loo in the bushes http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424...Dslideshow

Here is a man with a foot fetish worshipping her sandals.

And these are not gentlemen despite the clothes and they treat her disrespectfully as they did in life. [Image: marilyn-statue-photosjpg-9a9ac1bbe6501e7b.jpeg]
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.
