Magda, this very thread is about a paper written by myself and two other engineers that was published this past June in the International Journal of Protective Structures, which is a peer reviewed journal concerning dynamics and structures. It is available from the publisher for 18 GBP, if one does not have a subscription to the journal. They did say they would allow it to be posted for free use on Jan 1, 2014.
