...the latest banter on the news is that a man in Bavaria was stopped with a car full of explosives, assault rifles, machine guns, ammunition, bulletproof vests, et al....and...hold it...a GPS car device with Paris as the destination. The man has refused to talk, according to German Police. Some authorities are trying to link the two. No mention of his nationality, religion or passport - yet.
Quote:A man arrested with a cache of weapons including explosives, hand grenades and machine guns in Germany last week has been linked with the Paris attacks by local media. Several kilograms of TNT were found along with pistols, revolvers and ammunition were discovered, according to public broadcaster Bayrischer Rundfunk.
Police found weapons and explosives concealed in a "professional" hiding place inside the 51-year-old's Volkswagen Golf when they arrested him near the Austrian border, the station reported. Documents seized at the time of his arrest provided "substantial evidence" that the man was making his way to Paris, they said.
Bavarian state police spokesman Ludwig Waldinger confirmed to the Associated Press that firearms, explosives and hand grenades had been found. But a police spokesman said that they "would not provide any more information."
