David Guyatt Wrote:Only yesterday I pointed out a significant inconsistency with the Skripal story by posting a Daily Telegraph story of 9th March 2018 --- 20 days ago, one day short of 3 weeks - that the Novichok attack took place at the Skripal's home (see above).
The inconsistency was this: how come a military grade version (the deadliest version) of the deadliest nerve agent in the world --- that kills within seconds --- didn't even impact either of the Skripal's for several hours? Long enough for both of them to saunter out and enjoy a lunch at Zizzi restaurant and then go for a post prandial stroll before the agent took effect and they collapsed on a park bench.
Today, there is another glaring inconsistency.
Firstly, I'll simply note that news that was on the front page of the Telegraph three weeks ago is today the new front page news on most British newspapers. Authorities now state that the Novichok was placed on the front door handle of Sergei Skripal's house in Salisbury.
Those who have followed the story will recall news stories hauling away the taxi the Skripal's returned from the airport in the day before the attack. They will recall that Sergie Skripal's own car was also hauled away to Porton Down for inspection. Likewise the park bench on which they both collapsed. And, I believe, lesser items were also taken away for investigation and analysis.
In today's telegraph newspaper blaring out three week old news as new news, we see two uniformed Plod guarding the Skripal home.
And there in the aerial video is the Skripal's front door. Bare. Unsealed. No protective measures at all.
The boys from propaganda central (77 Brigade I guess) have missed a trick here. By rights that door should be an ex-parrot; it should not be present (even if the nerve agent has also expired). The "Norwegian Blue" of front doors should already be sitting in Novichok gulag at Porton Down - being inspected and analysed and subject to all sorts of high-cost spectroscopes and similar machines that go ping!
But there it sits. Whoops.
More balls ups than at a Central Office Christmas bash. What is to be done?
I know - promotions all round!
