Here in Rhode Island -- "The Nolo State" -- we are celebrating what used to be known as V.J. (Victory over Japan) Day, but what has morphed into Victory Day.
Today only at Haruki, a world-class Sushi restaurant on the East Side of Providence, there's a special appetizer called the Mushroom Cloud: chanterelles soaked in sake.
Eat two of them and you're bombed.
Just kidding.
How do you know that a Death March veteran sun bathes in the nude?
There are no Bataan lines.
I just made that up.
Rhode Island -- the only state that celebrates World War II's nuclear nightmare.
Yeah. There were two Holocausts.
