We can't let the bastards win!Absolutely Peter. And I think that is another reason that there is no universal health care system there also. " What if I get sick?" is a real fear for more reasons than just health outcomes in the US. It can mean loss of income, bills, homelessness, bankruptcy, debts of $100,000s. Contract jobs, hourly pay jobs, if there are jobs at all. Short term high rental. Impossible mortgages. Every society should be able to guarantee housing, health care, education and jobs/income support as an absolute minimum. It is not difficult. If 3rd world under resourced/financed nations like Cuba can any one can.
