I hate these sort of events with a purple passion. Fake corporate festivals of blah. People's real lives turned into someone's tacky theme park But if I was an athlete (ha!) and forced to take part in such a travesty I would not be happy with all of this at all. I doubt I would go no matter. Apart from the likely hood of some false flag terror event tons of people have had their homes, such as they are, disappeared to make way for all this and there has been terrible exploitation of workers in the building of the structures including of children. The cost on all levels is just not worth it. Don't feed the beast.
