Clique Schemed for US Defeat at Pearl Harbor

Hi Tracy,

I listened to most of it. He seemed to make a strong case. One thing. He calls MacArthur the "good general." I.F. Stone does a stellar job in showing how MacArthur helped to engineer the Korean "Police Action." Tarpley paints with a broad brush with very bright colors.

Well, in WWII he was a pretty capable general. Yes, Stone in The Hidden History of the Korean War shows him in a less flattering light. He was pretty right-wing in his politics, though he did later give JFK good advice about staying out of a land war in Asia.

I mostly like Tarpley, though I don't agree with him about everything.
