George's big lie

Chancellor of the Excheque, George Bullingdon Osborne, announces in his bedroom tax welfare reform speech today that "this month we'll make work pay".


That's a bit rich coming from a man who inherited nearly £5 million from his father and earns a six figure sum from renting his £3 million Notting Hill home while residing in Downing Street at the taxpayers expense.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
