A new way of looking at old age
#1
The madness of governments and the way they treat the honest elderly.

Quote:NEW SENIORS PROGRAM.

You're a sick senior citizen and the government says there is no nursing home or assisted living available for you. So what do you do?

Our plan gives anyone 65 years or older a gun and 4 bullets. You are allowed to shoot four politicians or shoot one politician four times or any variation thereof (your choice)!!

Of course, this means you will be sent to prison where you will get three meals a day, a roof over your head, central heating, air conditioning and all the health care you need!

Need new teeth? No problem. Need new glasses? No problem. Need a new hip, knees, kidney, lungs or heart? They're all covered.
As an added bonus, your kids can come and visit you as often as they do now.

And who will be paying for all of this? It's the same government that just told you that you they cannot afford for you to go into a nursing home.
And you can get rid of up to 4 useless politicians while you are at it. Just look how happy Mary is in the photo!

Another bonus of this program… now that you're a prisoner, you don't have to pay any taxes anymore.

Is this a great country or what?

The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

Don't try this in Texas!
The most relevant literature regarding what happened since September 11, 2001 is George Orwell's "1984".

This is satire right?

However, this is becoming a real issue as we baby boomers age.

Especially here in the US of A with Obamacare. I will not sign on nor will my husband.

And even medicare can break the bank unless one has other income than social security.

Pity that they just build more jails to house people for non violent crimes, like drugs.

But seniors have to choose between medicine and food.

For shame.
