For the last two days and for who knows how many more days, the BBC has been running a story that a Scottish academic has found that Robin Hood did not steal from the rich to give to the poor - but was just a common thief and troublemaker. I find the timing amazing and the, no doubt, false 'spin' on Robin an interesting event, given the current anti-Robin Hoods stealing the UK and much of the rest of the world blind. They leave no stone unturned in the service of Propaganda.

This research obviously is drawn from Monty Python's Dennis Moore: "steals from the poor, gives to the rich, stupid bitch!"

The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

But Peter, this is the basis upon which the BBC was founded, and how it is today funded - a subsidy from the poor for the propaganda of the rich. The piece you quote from is just business as usual...
