Memo written by CIA director John Brennan describes plan to "reinforce corporate culture of secrecy"

A CIA memo detailing the agency's plans to crush leaks has itself been leaked.
CIA director John Brennan The Associated Press reported Wednesday evening that it had "obtained" a memo written by CIA director John Brennana man tied to leaks of his owndescribing a new campaign to keep CIA officials from leaking information to the media.
The campaign is called "Honor the Oath," the news agency reports, and aims to "reinforce [the CIA's] corporate culture of secrecy."

For generations people have been saying that the CIA, mostly run by the elite and children of the elite, were gangsters for corporate capitalism. Now we know they view themselves more in a business context as well.

AP reports that the campaign was created as a result of a review of the agency's security initiated by former CIA director David Petraeus last summer following a series of leaks.

For generations people have been saying that the CIA, mostly run by the elite and children of the elite, were gangsters for corporate capitalism. Now we know they view themselves more in a business context as well.

While I'd not disagree with this, above, it shows a lack of knowledge/naivete on the part of the writer of the roots/connections of the 'intelligence' community past/present. Most of its founders and leading positions were lawyer of bankers, bankers, friends of bankers or corporate magnates/bosses, the very rich...et al. Why do you think the CIA calls itself 'the Company' - and a quick look at their covert operations - be they assassinations, assignations, false-flag ops, wars, government overthrows, drug dealing, money/gold/valuable laundering, torture, death squads, etc., et al. were all done in the 'name' of Corporate profit and the profit of the Uber-Rich for whom they work and from whom they come [at the top of the leadership]. The revolving door between the Military-Intelligence-Congressional-Judicial-Banking-Corporate-Security State and 'Private Business - read mulitnational Corporations/Banks' - is all too obvious. They don't protect the country. They protect the Rich and Powerful few [and their economic system of inequality, anti-democracy, anti-Natural, anti-life/love/care/compassion, endless warfare - class, and the real thing]....it is THAT simple!

Maybe some will 'get it' now. Ain't it about time?!
