Robert F Kennedy's review of JFKU

"The control of the MSM has never been stronger, and yes, Mockingbird and a new Sunstein-inspired push to place agents of disinformation posing as forum members on websites to defeat 'conspiracy' thinking and discussions are ONGOING and ACCELERATING - this never has stopped...and will not, until the Revolution."[Quote from Mr. Lemkin.]

Succinct and to the heart of the issues. I like that.

If the Dead advised to look out any window, I'd advise to watch any "news" broadcast to validate Mr. Lemkin's observation, from CNN to your local talking head "news" the effect of the broadcasts is clear to me.
Furthermore, the effects on lives and conduct are far-reaching, way beyond being lied to/about/and such like.

It is part of citizenship to feed your head better input than that MSM junk and cyber BS, it is a job in the end one must do for one's self.
Read not to contradict and confute;
nor to believe and take for granted;
nor to find talk and discourse;
but to weigh and consider.

From what I can see, revolutions have historically just removed one elite and replaced them with a new elite - "meet the new boss, same as the old boss." Because peoples' minds have not really changed. So China today is a corporate slave state, Russia is a mafia state, the revolutions in the US and France just led to the birth of Empires, Cuba is still a one-party state, Vietnam is the new favorite low-wage manufacturing site for global corporations...

Anthony Thorne Wrote:Orbis books posted the following on their Facebook page for the Douglass book. If Orbis are putting the quote on the cover for the upcoming re-release I'm assuming he gave it to them directly, or they approached him directly for the quote - either seems possible if RFK Jr. has read the book and liked it.

Quote:Five years ago, Orbis Books released what became one of our most compelling and talked-about books in our publishing history, JFK and the Unspeakable.

On November 1, to note the 50th anniversary of this world-changing event, we will re-issue the hardcover with text corrections and additional endorsements, including this one we just received from Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.:

"In JFK and the Unspeakable Jim Douglass has distilled all the best available research into a very well-documented and convincing portrait of President Kennedy's transforming turn to peace, at the cost of his life. Personally, it has made a very big impact on me. After reading it in Dallas, I was moved for the first time to visit Dealey Plaza. I urge all Americans to read this book and come to their own conclusions about why he died and why -- after fifty years -- it still matters." -- Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Thanks, Anthony. That nails it!

And what's really killer is Yoko Ono down the page:

"Right now, I ask all of youplease, please, read JFK and the Unspeakable! I cried all night reading it, and didn't sleep a wink. It is a book that could make us stand up and change the world, right now. Maybe we can save the world before it blows up. Really."Yoko Ono

And as for the "main-stream media"--did somebody miss Network?

The destruction of the video of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., on Charlie Rose--yet we have Rachel Maddow and Noam Chomsky in hot-and-cold-running lies.

On the PBS Charlie Rose Show site the description for 2013-1-11 is discussion of Academy Awards

The "media"is not to inform; academia is not to educate.

In times of universal deceit, speaking the truth is a revolutionary act

I saw that post by Yoko some time back and I could not help but wonder if she has investigated John's murder. There is enough on the net alone to raise grave suspicions. Combine that with the Fenton Bresler book-"Who Killed John Lennon?"
and one can become quite convinced. I remember when it happened. I could not let myself go there. Surely not HIM. The man who brought me joy after the assassination of JFK. Not a Beatle!!!. But there was that nagging doubt, especially when MDC pled. (Always a sure sign- a trial would unearth evidence.).

Fuck these bastards who kill all the peacemakers. ::darthvader::

The truth will prevail one day. From what is written it sounds as though Angleton, Dulles and assorted cronies were put through some misery of their own making in their last years trying to defend themselves from bits of truth starting to bubble to the surface. It will not stop...::facepalm::

Ono appears briefly in the narrative of at least one conspiracy book I read in the last few years - can't remember if it was the Bresler book or another one - where after a friendly meeting with a writer who was looking to investigate the matter, she helpfully pointed the author in the direction of someone else who had written or researched Lennon's killing, and said "He has something you should read". The implication of the passage (again, can't remember if it was in Bresler's volume or not) was that Ono was fully aware of the conspiratorial vibes around her husband's death and was supportive of research into the matter, but wasn't going to dip her toes into it herself.

Another good book on the assassination of Lennon is Phil Strongman's JOHN LENNON: LIFE, TIMES, ASSASSINATION, which is as conspiratorial as Bresler's work but pairs the narrative of Lennon's death with a simultaneous one detailing the assassination capabilities of the CIA. The Amazon reviews of Strongman's book are instructive.

Mae Brussell did some good work on Lennon's death. I can only imagine if she had lived and had a website today.

Sean Lennon made his feelings clear about this a long time ago. Here's the very sensitive coverage by EOnline.

Quote:When Sean Lennon sings, he sounds like John Lennon. But when he talks, he sounds uncannily like...Oliver Stone.

The 22-year-old offspring of Beatle John and Yoko Ono thinks a conspiracy worthy of a three-hour Stone diatribe (see JFK) is behind his father's 1980 shooting death.

"He was a counterculture revolutionary, and the government takes that kind of shit really seriously historically," the Columbia University dropout tells this week's New Yorker.

Adds Sean: "[My father] was dangerous to the government. If he had said, 'Bomb the White House tomorrow,' there would have been 10,000 people who would have done it. These pacifist revolutionaries are historically killed by the government."

The official story fingers Mark David Chapman, noted Catcher in the Rye enthusiast, as the lone assassin in the murder outside Lennon's Manhattan apartment. Sean, who was five years old when his father died, begs to disagree with the official story.

"Anybody who thinks that Mark Chapman was just some crazy guy who killed my dad for his personal interests is insane, I think, or very naive," he says.

Unlike Stone, Sean is not consumed with conspiracy theories. He also tends to a budding music career. His debut record, the Beach Boys-influenced Into the Sun, is building strong buzz.
