While eating breakfast I accidentally landed on a CSPAN-2 program of Brad Meltzer from cable TV's Brad Meltzer Decoded speaking at the Miami Book Fair. He was basically saying JFK conspiracy theorists were the product of a brainwashing social phenomenon where conspiracy theories were promoted so much that people accepted them as real without questioning their details. He said Oliver Stone was a prime example. Brad said there was no real evidence behind any of the theories and the Grassy Knoll shooter was imaginary. Brad then claimed that his sober minded approach was a way of "reclaiming history" from this runaway conspiracy theory social phenomenon and that particular work was the key to understanding the assassination. Most of the audience clapped. I saw no one protesting. A man then stood up to the microphone and asked Meltzer if he ever read James Douglass' 'JFK And The Unspeakable'? Meltzer replied no but then went on to once again say 'Unspeakable' conformed to his analysis of conspiracy theories. So get this straight, this is a book fair and literary convention where Mr Meltzer offered no reference to the numerous credible conspiracy books out there yet had the balls to claim he controlled the floor.

Americans have learned that those in power have created the media and social conditions under which anyone can save face by saying the words "Conspiracy Theory" whenever questions about US or foreign policy that are sensitive to the CIA and gigantic corporations are raised. Time and again, they have been taught that it is OK to respond without fact, historical reference or bar-b-que sauce with the two words: "Conspiracy Theory"
They have never seen a career or a nose suffer for this simple disjunctive response. They have suspected that many noses prospered.

Meltzer's some kind of Mockingbird op. His program regularly takes the 'skeptic' position on famous conspiracies. The History Channel, Discovery, and several other cable TV channels are CIA psy-ops mediums. Since Bush they've been popularizing guns, showing mining and logging programs that are subtle anti-environmental psychological warfare vehicles, pro War On Terror special forces programs, survival programs with a military edge, entrepreneurial programs based on greed for a society that no longer offers industrial jobs, as well as other pro CIA agenda offerings disguised as entertaining shows. - And let's not forget, of course, the pro Warren Commission programs regularly offered

Maybe he's just an everyday, ordinary, all-American idiot.
I wish callers had asked him about 544 Camp Street, Mexico City or JFK's missing brain.
In fact, I wish a caller had asked him about Brad Meltzer's missing brain too.
